Date of walk 5/5/08 Walking Fife Coastal Path (Wilma and Mike) organised me a great holiday with only a few days notice. I'd never been to Fife before, never walked a long distance path before, and wasn't used to going on holiday on my own so it was invaluable to have Mike and Wilma's local knowledge to get it all together for me they discussed distances, terrain, what I'd like to see, what sort of accommodation I'd like and came back with a couple of plans and a quote by the next morning. The hotel and guest house they picked for me were of a very good standard, friendly and welcoming and never more than a few metres from the Coastal Path. You are also invited to ring them at any time if you get into difficulties or just want to ask them something which contributes to the feeling of complete relaxation the path gives you, I changed my mind about where to go on the last day but one quick call and it was sorted. The path itself is very beautiful and very varied - It is mostly flat and well maintained which makes it a good one for people who haven't walked much or who don't want to be any where too remote or challenging. Holidays DATE OF WALK 15/5/08 My friend and i have used various baggage transport companies for long distance walks we have completed around the UK and fcp holidays ranked among the best. On the two occasions when there were minor changes to our agreed schedule these were accommodated cheerfully and efficiently and on one occasion when our luggage was delivered to the wrong hotel this was corrected promptly. The luggage transfer service provided by fife coastal path holidays was excellent Wilma and Michael were well organised helpful and encouraging. We would recommend there service to anyone walking the fife coastal path Barbra and Zelda Coventry 0nce again sorry for the mix up as the two hotels have very similar names.
